Tomato-Orange Glazed Beefsteak

A sweet and savory homemade barbecue sauce perfect for brushing on grilled meat.

Tomato-Orange Glaze

1/2 cup tomato ketchup
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tbsp thick sweet soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cayenne pepper
salt

Place all ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium. Simmer gently for 5 minutes.

Place tenderloins a large zip locking bag and add 1/3 of the marinade and marinate in refrigerator for 2 hours, or preferably overnight.

Heat grill. Remove tenderloins from marinade, discarding used marinade.
Grill 5-7 minutes per side for medium rare. Baste them thoroughly with reduced sauce while cooking. Remove from heat and transfer to a large platter and allow them to rest for 10 minutes.
