Murgh Kandhari
An Indian barbecued chicken

6 pcs chicken thigh
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp black peppercorn, crushed
5 tbsp cream
1 1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp garlic paste
2 tbsp ginger paste
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp honey
2 tsp chillie powder
salt , to taste
1 cup yoghurt

Skin the chicken.

Mix chillie powder, lemon juice and honey and rub over the chicken evenly.
Marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Whisk yoghurt in a bowl. Add ginger and garlic paste, cumin, cream, salt, black pepper and garam masala and mix well.
Add in the marinated chicken into this mixture and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours or preferably overnight.

Preheat oven to 170C.
Bake in the oven for about 50-55 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken.

Remove the chicken from the oven, sprinkle with lemon juice and serve with naan and fresh mint chutney.

Mamafami -- betul juga, ya!

Mamasya -- garlic and ginger paste tu sama saja kalau diprocess dalam blender. Cuma kat sini, for speed and convenience, ada dijual garlic and ginger yang dah siap blended dan dibotolkan. Muna rasa kalau fresh lagi sedap.
