Blackberry Crumble

This is one of those really easy dessert that you will want to make everyday.
The great thing about crumble is that you can use it with almost any fruit that is in season.

Most recipe would call for some lemon juice to be included but I feel that the blackberries are pretty sharp by itself that adding lemon juice would be optional.

Blackberry Crumble

Place Blackberries into individual buttered dish.

Sprinkle with demerera sugar and place a knob of butter on top of blackberries

Combine sugar and flour and cut in butter.
This should have the consistency of large crumbs.
Sprinkle crumb mixture over blackberries.
Bake at 180C for 20 minutes

I like to serve it hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
