Mai's delish mustard chicken has given me the idea on what to make for my dinnner.
This recipe is totally at experimental stage, but, luckily it turned out alright. Lucky for me, my family was more than willing (?) to be my guinea pigs.
Ingredients:
3 medium size fish steaks (I'm using mahi mahi. You may also use swordfish, tuna or anything you like)
the marinade:
2 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp smoked paprika powder
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper
In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
Then, spread the marinade all over the surface of the fish.
Leave it to marinade for about 20 minutes.
Heat pan, add a little olive oil and pan fry the fish until well cooked.
Serve the fish with your choice of salad and a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
